 THE DECADE...

Yes thats right! 2008 marks the 10th year of the Mighty Condy CODS!!

 10 years of green, 10 years of white,

10 years of culture and 10 years of fight.

10 years of blood and sweat and not so many tears,

10 years of the Fish Bowl thundering with cheers.

10 years of Thursday nights down at the Condy Bell,

This 10 years has gone so fast no one could ever tell,

We sprang up from Condamine and rose against all odds,

We are the men in green and white,

THE MIGHTY CONDY CODS!!

THE TRAINING..

CODS traing has started and is on every Thursday night at the Fish Bowl at 7.

Everyone is welcome even if you have never played rugby before.

Imagine....

The story of the CODS written in a paperback and distributed to the world..

As the CODS 10th year is upon us, we will be celebrating in a big way. One aspect of this celebration will be in the form of a book written by story teller Annabelle Brayley.

Annabelle was inspired by the story of the small sleepy town of Condamine and its life-blood the Condy CODS and is super-keen to share the story of them to the world but she needs YOUR help..

The book wont be a dry read on the dates and events that have occured in the history of the club and what the CODS have achieved, but rather a snapshot into the lives of some members and the true culture and spirit that Condamine is renowned for.

 HOW YOU CAN BE A PART OF THIS

Annabelle needs material, this could be in the form of stories about CODS outings, details of various shennanigans, how the CODS have affected your life etc.

So if you have anything that could help, please send it through to the CODS email or direct to Annabelle at:

You do not have to be able to write elequently to send something in - it's the story tellers' job to make a great story sound even better with the right words.

SO PLEASE START SENDING IN YOUR STORIES AND GO DOWN IN HISTORY!!!

THE CALENDAR!!

You guessed it - the CODS have nuded it up in 2008 to bring you the first official CODS footy season calendar. So for the chance to glimpse one of your favourite CODS in the raw you'll have to purchase a calendar. Calendars will be available from home games or contact the vice president David Wells.
